About The Blog

The Jewel Farm blog is a companion site to my Etsy shop of the same name.

There will occasionally be some focus on the products of my store and my personal life as it relates to the business, but primarily the blog is about jewelry, jewelry making techniques, jewelry fashions, gemstones, artisans, and anything else interesting I can find related to jewelry.

Wooden Beads, Cont.

My last post was about the popularity of the wooden beads I listed on Etsy. I have been doing some online shopping since then and found some wood jewelry that I really like and thought I would share. It's not all beaded, but its all wood.

I like this bib necklace. Based on the price, I doubt that the black portion is ebony, but it looks like it.

I really love this necklace. The wooden beads are faceted like a gemstone. I think it's quite witty.

The owners of this Etsy shop hand paint the beads. The two artists who made this necklace definitely have a way of matching the right colors together.

This polished wood bracelet is really interesting. It is lined with gold plated brass. I like this because the shape of the bracelet is so unique that it doesn't need any other embellishment. The gold lining is just the right accent.

I really want to buy that color block necklace. This blog is going to get me in trouble with my husband and our budget!
